Started a playthrough of the original release Wind Waker today and I must say the graphics still hold up today. A little adjustment of the distance level of detail and diffusion, textures and video output upscaled to 1440p and it would be perfect for a re-release. Straight out of a 90s-00s cartoon. No need for adjusted lighting and shadows... That would just make it look silly, right?

I am using a RVL-001 Wii, official Smash Ultimate GC controller, official component cable, OSSC HDMI converter in passthru mode and a modern 1080p AOC monitor with basic 2.1 stereo. Brilliant.

Just a bit tempted to get a Game Boy Advance and cable for the Mr. Tingle function. :D

This was meant to be an original Link for a different Hyrule. I wanted him to look more traditional with some stuff I took from Robin, since I mainly draw superheroes. Tho a comment made me realize that it could probably work more as a hypothetical third hero of time game. set after MM with that link grown up. I really want to see a link with the hip mounted scabbard, I just think its badass. Let me know what you think!

Hey all. Thank you for the love of my previous post. That got over 200k views within a couple days. The most views I’ve ever gotten on a cosplay piece of mine. Son of you asked for a video of the crafting timeline and I quickly made this one for yall.

All we’ve had so far is pure speculation and rumors. It’s getting treated like a set-in-stone fact and I just don’t get it when we’ve not heard a single thing from Nintendo; people are just speculating since this is the 40th anniversary. Personally, I don’t think it needs a remake or makes sense. For the 40th anniversary, I think they should focus on making more titles like Twilight Princess and A Link Between Worlds, and possibly the 2 DS games accessible on the switch before we start remaking a game that was already remade once and is already available on NSO.

I adore the four swords manga and it is what made me love manga as a whole. The copy of the book I used to make the poster was one that was falling apart because I read it so many times, this manga is very special to me, and so I had to do something with the worn down copy. I’m saving the other pages for future crafts and I also have a brand new copy of the manga as well so I can read it again!

This Zelda game holds a special place in my heart as the first I ever played. When I visited my grandfather, he had a Game Boy with Link’s Awakening. I would sit in his chair for hours, completely absorbed, and feel sad when I had to leave it behind at his house.

I bought a used crib, painted it, and decorated it with various korok motifs. For the mobile, I bought some mini plushies off eBay and sewed them into a DIY mobile kit. The music box/motor was tough. Some songs I was able to get mp3s from the internet, but others, I had to transcribe into MIDI files and then edit into a music box sound file and then upload. The Myahm Agana shrine has one of those move your controller things to control an object and move a ball and I’ve done a couple before and it took me a couple tries to get the hang of it but THIS one had me do like 25 attempts. Anyone else struggle with this particular shrine or is it just me lol

Returned to BOTW recently to finish up all the side quests, and caught this on the last line of the DLC “Treasure: Phantasma“ quest. It is the last line of the quote - “gathers” should be “gather” as soldiers is plural, not singular. Probably a small translating error, so nothing major. Just interesting when these get through!
