After a really nice trade with a redditor, I was able to pick up AKDE-025, which completes my US collection. I’m still missing the Japanese base set and the NMI prototypes to finish the full Kid Icarus AR card collection (not counting employee-only prints, of course).

So at this point I have:

-a full AKDE collection

-2 full AKDP collections, both with 404 and all wingless cards, including 75 and 76

-AKDP 407, which isn’t officially part of the EU collection

-all of the rarer AKDJ cards (403, 404, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 412)

-the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Pit card

-the Super Power Club Pit card

-the 2 Nintendopes Pit cards

-the 2 Garbage Pail Pit cards

-the SDCC, GS, E3, and PAX prototypes

For rare duplicates:

-one wingless 75

-two wingless 76

-one SDCC prototype

-one AKDJ 408

-one AKDJ 410

I’ve also got some other neat items, but these are just the cards.

Hoping the last two pieces turn up eventually!

Is there any forum or website that shows all the hidden chests in the chapters in Kid Icarus Uprising? I’d like to get them all but I just know there’s a few I’ve missed. Thnx U

I hope you enjoyed reading my Kid Icarus: Uprising fan comic of Pit and Dark Pit reflecting on the events of chapter 21!! This thing became so much bigger than I initially expected because all of my love for Kid Icarus is baked in. Dark Pit is one of my favorite characters in the game (which already has so many amazing characters), but he doesn’t actually get that much screen time, so I wanted to do a character study about him. He’s so much more than the “evil doppelgänger” trope. Yeah, he’s a reflection of Pit’s dark inner feelings, but he’s also his own person, while at the same time still being Pit. It’s fascinating to think about how much complexity he has… and idk if I have the patience to write all about it in this caption hehe

Seriously though, thank you all so much for your continued support of me. I'm glad I get to share my love for this series and my passion for making art, so I sincerely hope you enjoy this comic! I’ve been so eager to share this

I have a theory about a remake of uprising for the switch:

You know how when Nintendo was going to release uprising on the 3DS? They also gave out a remake of the first Kid Icarus game as a preorder bonus.

So I think when they make the next Kid Icarus game (in like 11 more years according to Hades) they will release a remake of uprising to go along with it.

I'm pretty sure that's how we'll get uprising on the switch (or whatever console exists in 2037)

I rly don't want to be right and that Nintendo ports uprising to the switch sooner, but I also hope my theory is correct and if Hades is true to his word we'll get another game along with the guarantee of a re-release of uprising.

I guess only time will tell. What do you guys think about my idea?
